For 40 days our Bond Street and Spring Street windows have been filled with a huge Mulberry trunk, revealing lots of festive fun and Mulberry treats each day. The final day is tomorrow so we thought we’d do a round-up of the trunk’s best bits. A huge thank you to our fantastic Visual Merchandising team and everyone that contributed to the trunk’s treats – we loved it!
December is a lovely time for a winter trip, and Amsterdam is a lovely place to go in December! The Bayswater in Grass Green accompanied the team around the city, stopping to soak up the atmosphere at some prime tourist locations.

Run, run, as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m a gingerbread man!
Gingerbread is a lovely Christmassy treat, and Katie Franklin of the Pomp de Franc Cake Society in London has shared her recipe with us, so you can have a go at making them.
Ready for baking!
Make you own gingerbread men
• 125g unsalted butter
• 100g dark muscovado sugar
• 4 tbsp golden syrup
• 325g plain flour
• 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
• 2 tsp ground ginger
• icing sugar
Preheat oven to 170°C. Melt the butter, sugar and syrup in a pan on the hob over medium heat.
Into another large mixing bowl sift the flour, add the soda and the ginger and mix together. Once the butter and sugar have melted, pour into the flour and mix together to form a solid dough.
Roll out a large piece of greaseproof paper, to the size of your baking tray, and give it a little dusting with flour. Put the dough in the centre and roll with a dusted rolling pin until it is about 5mm thick.
With a gingerbread cutter cut out as many men as you can fit. Remove the excess gingerbread and keep to one side to use again. Without moving the men, lift the whole piece of greaseproof paper with all men on it, on to the baking tray and cook for 8-9 mins. Remove and let cool.
In the mean time make your icing with icing sugar and a drop of water until it is just runny enough not to be solid. Put the icing into an icing bag and use a small tip nozzle to decorate your men to your liking!
We had so many beautiful entries for our Vogue.co.uk Online Fashion Week competition, which asked our Facebook fans and Twitter followers to send in pictures of their own Mulberry moment, be it real or fantasy.
Our Twitter winner Raeesa took our 40th anniversary illustration as inspiration, drawing herself and other Mulberry moments into her own version, and our Facebook winner Merve took Mulberry into the kitchen and reproduced a beautiful cake bag in the shape of a Bayswater.
We had so many lovely entries that it was hard just to pick two, so we also chose a few runner ups as well, which you can see in the gallery below.
We were lucky enough to have the beautiful Lana Del Rey perform live for us at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. Her iconic single Video Games is on our most-listened-to list, and her poolside performance was hauntingly beautiful.
